WhatsApp receptionist for service businesses

Turn customer conversations into confirmed bookings.

Cloverge answers enquiries on WhatsApp, checks your real availability and books the appointment. Out of hours included. Your team can step into any conversation at any time.

Invite-only while the first businesses are onboarded.

A reply that waits
until morning.

19:42

Most enquiries arrive after the business has closed. Scroll, and watch what the wait costs.

Illustrative conversation, not a transcript

The same enquiry twice. Handled by a person the next morning at 09:12, the customer has already booked somewhere else. Handled by Cloverge, the reply with two real times arrives eight seconds after the message, and the customer picks one.

One route, from first message to booked.

  1. Message

A customer writes to your WhatsApp number, at any hour, in their own words.

  2. Understand

Cloverge works out what they want: which service, roughly when, and whether it is a new booking or a change.

  3. Check

Availability comes from your real calendar and opening hours. It cannot offer a time you do not have.

  4. Book

The customer confirms, the slot is written once, and a reference goes back to them.

  5. Sync

The booking lands in your calendar and your Cloverge inbox, where your team sees the whole thread.

The platform

Everything the receptionist does, where your team can see it.

Cloverge is not a bot bolted onto your number. It is a shared inbox, a bookings list and a contact book that the AI writes into, and that your staff can pick up at any point.

AI handling this conversation
  • One inbox, both voices

What the AI said and what your team said, in one thread, with who said it marked on every message.

  • Bookings you can trust

Every booking is checked against opening hours, buffers and the calendar before it is written. Two customers cannot take the same slot.

  • Configured once

Services, durations, prices, hours and booking rules live in one settings area. The AI reads them; it never invents them.

Automatic when it should be.
Human when it matters.

The AI is a mode, not a wall. It answers the routine questions and takes the routine bookings. When a conversation needs a person, a person takes it, mid-thread, and hands it back when they are done.

  • Switch the AI off for one conversation, or for the whole business.
  • Every message is marked with who sent it: Cloverge, or a named member of staff.
  • Anything the AI cannot handle is passed to a person rather than guessed.

Hi, I booked a colour for Wednesday but I'm allergic to PPD, is that a problem?
ClovergeThanks for telling us. That is a question for the team, so I have passed it to them and someone will reply here shortly.

SamHi, Sam here. We can do a PPD-free colour. I'll add a patch test to your appointment; come in ten minutes early on Wednesday.

Turning the switch off pauses AI replies for this conversation and lets a member of staff reply.

The booking, step by step

The customer picks a time.

One reply in plain words. No app to install, no link to open.

  1. Customer confirms: The customer picks a time. One reply in plain words. No app to install, no link to open.
  2. Availability checked: Cloverge checks it is really free. Opening hours, the service's duration and buffer, and the calendar. It cannot offer a time that is not there.
  3. Slot held: The slot is held while the booking is written. Two people confirming the same minute end with exactly one booking. The database refuses the second, and that customer is offered the next time.
  4. Booking written: Written once, with a reference. Service, time, contact, source and price are recorded together, and the customer gets a reference they can quote.
  5. Calendar sync queued: The calendar update is queued, not hoped for. A calendar outage delays the event. It never loses the booking. The record is the record.
  6. Visible to the team: Your team sees it, with the whole thread. The booking appears in the list and the conversation stays attached, so a person can pick it up any time.

Honest about where it is.

Cloverge is being built in reviewed phases and onboarded business by business. This is the current state, not a roadmap dressed as a feature list.

Reasonable things to ask before you trust a receptionist.

Does the AI replace my team?

No. It answers routine questions and takes routine bookings so a person does not have to be at the phone. Anything it cannot handle is passed to a person rather than guessed, and your team can take over any conversation at any point.

Can staff take over a conversation?

Yes, mid-thread. The AI is a mode that can be switched off for one conversation or for the whole business. Every message is marked with who sent it, so the thread stays legible.

Does it use real availability?

Yes. Offered times come from your opening hours, your services' durations and buffers, and your calendar. A booking is written once, and two customers cannot take the same slot: the database refuses the second attempt and that customer is offered the next time.

What happens outside working hours?

The receptionist replies whenever the message arrives and books inside the hours you have set. Nothing is offered outside them.

Which calendars are supported?

Google Calendar is being built now and is the calendar of record at launch. Microsoft 365 is designed and scheduled after launch. If you use something else, tell us on the demo call.

Is Cloverge suitable for my type of business?

It is built for any local business that books time: the vocabulary is business, customer, service and booking, with nothing assumed about your trade. Conversations are handled in English; anything else is handed to a person.

Who can see my data?

Your business, and nobody else's. Each business is isolated at the database level. If Cloverge support ever opens your account it is time-boxed, needs a stated reason, is recorded, and shows in your own activity view.

What does it cost?

Pricing has not been published yet. Cloverge is invite-only while the first businesses are onboarded, and the demo call is where we talk about fit and cost.

Your next customer may already be messaging.

Make sure someone answers.
